BLOGMAS #16: FAVORITE CHRISTMAS SCENT
Oh, candles,
glass jars filled
with soy and wax
and wick, how I love
the smoky campfires
you make of our home.
But really, holiday candles make me swoon. I'm a fool for the pumpkin scents, the various incantations of spruce and fir, even the sugar plum and gingerbread. Nothing makes me happier than walking in the door after work and taking in the smells of winter.
If I really had to nail it down to one scent, my absolute favorite, I'd have to choose Holiday Cheer, one of the many options available at Target. It's got notes of cranberry interspersed with hints of pine and musk that complement everything from the decorations to the flavors in the kitchen.
